Set plans to rob the Union Depository.

Planning The Big Score - Mission Details:

Michael, Trevor, Franklin and Lester all meet at the Vanilla Unicorn to plan the big score.

The group discuss two options to hit the Union Depository. The first option is the "subtle" option. The group hijack armoured cars heading to the depository, take the crews hostage and infiltrate the depository. Once in, they'll get the score and load it on some modded cars to get out with.

The second option is the "obvious" option. The group will cause a distraction out front while some other guys will be drilling, taking out what they can.

The group make their decision and chose a crew.

Heist Crew Selection:

The following characters are available to complete the crew for The Big Score:

Subtle Approach

Gunmen x2.

  • Gustavo Mota (14% cut) - If chosen, he will do a good job regardless if he is the first or second gunman.
  • Packie McReary (12% cut) - If chosen, he will do a good job regardless if he is the first or second gunman.
  • Chef (12% cut) - If chosen, he will do a good job regardless if he is the first or second gunman.
  • Karl Abolaji (8% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he will drop some of the gold bars while loading them onto the Gauntlets. If chosen as second, he will do a good job.
  • Norm Richards (7% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he will drop some of the gold bars while loading them onto the Gauntlets. If chosen as second, he will do a good job.
  • Hugh Welsh (7% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he will drop some of the gold bars while loading them onto the Gauntlets. If chosen as second, he will do a good job.
  • Daryl Johns (6% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he will drop some of the gold bars while loading them onto the Gauntlets. If chosen as second, he will do a good job.

Drivers x2.

  • Eddie Toh (14% cut) - He will do a good job as either first or second driver.
  • Taliana Martinez (5% cut) - She will do a good job as either first or second driver.
  • Karim Denz (8% cut) - If chosen as first driver, he will lose some of the gold bars while loading them onto the Gaunlets and will get captured by the police while escaping, losing about a quarter of the take. As the second driver, he has no problem changing the tires but will swerve when driving the truck making it difficult to enter. If he has previous experience then he will do a good job as either driver.

Hacker.

  • Paige Harris (15% cut) - If chosen, there will be no lag changing the traffic lights.
  • Christian Feltz (10% cut) - If chosen, there will be a 2 second lag while changing the traffic lights unless he has previous experience, then there will be no lag.
  • Rickie Lukens (4% cut) - If chosen, there will be a 4 second lag unless he has previous experience, then there will only be a 2 second lag. If he done both the Jewelry store and the Bureau Raid then there will be no lag.

Obvious Approach

Drivers x2.

  • Eddie Toh (14% cut) - If chosen, he does a good job as either first or second driver. He will still need to be protected from the Merryweather helicopters as they can still destroy his helicopter.
  • Taliana Martinez (5% cut) - If chosen, she does a good job as either first or second driver. She will still need to be protected from the Merryweather helicopters as they can still destroy her helicopter.
  • Karim Denz (8% cut) - If chosen as first driver, he will crash into the wind farm - losing half the take. If chosen as second, he does a good job. If he has any experience, he does a good job as either first or second driver. He will still need to be protected from the Merryweather helicopters as they can still destroy his helicopter.

Gunmen x2.

  • Gustavo Mota (14% cut) - If chosen, he does a good job as either first or second gunman.
  • Packie McReary (12% cut) - If chosen, he does a good job as either first or second gunman.
  • Chef (12% cut) - If chosen, he does a good job as either first or second gunman.
  • Karl Abolaji (8% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he does a good job. If second, he's not helpful and does require some protection from the player.
  • Norm Richards (7% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he does a good job. If second, he's not helpful and does require some protection from the player. If he has experience from the Bureau Raid, he will be more helpful.
  • Hugh Welsh (7% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he does a good job. If second, he's not helpful and does require some protection from the player. If he has experience from the Bureau Raid, he will be more helpful.
  • Daryl Johns (6% cut) - If chosen as first gunman, he does a good job. If second, he's not helpful and does require some protection from the player. If he has experience from the Bureau Raid, he will be more helpful.

Best Approach & Largest Possible Take

The Obvious approach will get the highest revenue, as in the Subtle approach the player will have to pay a $300,000 bribe, a minimum of $30,000 to upgrade the Bravados and requires a bigger and more expensive crew.

The best options are Taliana Martinez (5%) and Karim Denz (8%) as drivers. If Karim is inexperienced, he would need to drive the train or he'll crash the helicopter and lose half the score. Hire the cheapest gunmen, Daryl Johns (6%) and either Norm Richards or Hugh Welsh (7%). Use whoever is the most experienced as Gunman 2.
