Well, well, well, there we have it! After a long wait, we have the 2025 community update from Rockstar Games via an article on their newswire covering news related to GTA Online, Red Dead Online, and the ever-anticipated GTA VI. Let's get into each announcement in order.

GTA Online Community Update

First, we have the announcement of one final GTA Online update: Legends of Los Santos!
Take to the skies with your own power suit, run at the speed of sound with kinetic enhancements, or collect one of the seventeen new unique superpowers available in the game to enhance combat!

Red Dead Online Community Update
After being put on the backburner for the past few years, Rockstar have finally released a new statement about RDO:

We think it's great to see that the game will be receiving a full suite of content updates again, and we truly wish our team member, Yangy, the best with their opportunity to be a creative lead on the game as they implement the full Red Dead Online Ultimate Concept Bundle over the next eight years. They had a little message for the community:

GTA VI Update
And with the good, there is the bad.

Unfortunately, GTA VI has been delayed by approximately a year and a half until February 29, 2027 to allow Rockstar to make more changes to the story and the ingame world due to new media censorship laws in the United States of America, Russia, North Korea, and the United Federation of Moon Colonists. They claimed they didn't want to make these changes originally, but after witnessing the satirical speculation by TGG, they decided to delay it specifically to spite him. Thanks, bro.
On the bright side, the release means we will have new hardware available, and the game will soon rerelease at a higher quality on Playstation 6, the newly announced Xbox Centauri, and NVidia RTX 8090-boasting PCs.
