A new purchasable Salvage Yard has been added to GTA Online with 'The Chop Shop' Update in December 2023. Under the cover of Red’s Auto Parts, you’ll be charged with planning and executing intricate, high-stakes robberies with the help of the returning Yusuf Amir and his cousin Jamal.
Purchasing this business provides access to a range of Salvage Yard Robberies, a Tow Truck Service, and other features. Answer the call from Yusuf to get started.
You can purchase a Salvage Yard on the Maze Bank Foreclosures website from a choice of five locations. Salvage Yards can be customized with choices of Tint, and can be upgraded with Trade Rates, a Tow Truck, a Wall Safe, and Staff.
Salvage Yards Business Features:
- Each week, Salvage Yard owners can complete three multi-part Freemode Salvage Yard Robberies: scoping and planning to steal highly prized vehicles that can be sold or salvaged for a profit
- Each robbery entails scoping out some initial intel, completing Preps and new Freemode Tasks, and culminates in a high-speed Finale.
- Sell off stolen vehicles for a lump sum by safely dropping them off at the docks to be shipped in a cargo container to Yusuf
- Salvaged vehicles are stripped for parts over time inside the Salvage Yard. Upon completion, players will receive a payment
- Salvage Yard owners can purchase a Tow Truck, providing access to a Tow Truck Service where players collect abandoned cars and take them back to be salvaged over time
- Completing Tow Truck work also temporarily increases the rate at which the Salvage Yard generates passive income
- This property comes with new Awards as well as Career Progress Challenges on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
