The Job

The Job is an Asset mission in GTA Vice City, given by Malibu Club.

It's the 44° GTA Vice City mission in chronological order, and it becomes available after completing The Driver.

Tommy, Hillary, Phil and Ken rob the El Banco Corrupto Grande Bank.

The Job: Mission Objectives

Drive to the Bank.
Change into the robbery clothing.
Enter the bank.
Go to the vault.
Go to the manager's office.
Take the manager back to the vault.
Check on Phil.
Assist Phil.
Kill the SWAT Team.
Exit the bank.
Get in the Pay 'n' Spray.
Go to Cam's house.

The Job is the final mission in the Malibu Club strand. Now that the crew has been assembled, it's time for the big payoff. Tommy takes his crew to rob the local bank.

Before Doing The Job

You may want to consider completing some side content before taking on the mission, as you'll be taking a lot of heat. Along with arming yourself to the teeth with machine gun and assault rifle ammo, the following side missions give you some helpful upgrades.

10 Levels of the Pizza Boy Pastime: Completing the tenth level grants you 150 health.
12 Levels of the Vigilante Pastime: Completing twelve levels boosts your armor level to 150.

Drive to the Bank

This is a very simple objective, but it has a couple of caveats. You need to keep the provided taxi intact, as it will be essential for your getaway. Showing up to the bank with it completely mangled will spell out mission failure. Drive with caution!

Robbing the Bank

Upon arriving at the bank, the three-man crew will disguise themselves and walk inside, where the robbery will commence. Tommy and Cam will leave Phil to crowd control before heading upstairs to the vault. On the way, you'll be confronted by a few security guards armed with machine guns. Mow them down and collect their ammo before pressing onward.

NOTE: You'll come upon a well-hidden guard just before reaching the vault. Take preemptive measures and wipe him out before taking too much damage!

Find the Bank Manager

You'll need to find the bank manager before Cam can gain access to the vault. Take the elevator back upstairs, and after checking in on Phil, head back down the hallway towards his office, where more guards will be waiting for you. Mow them down and find the manager cowering behind his office desk. Take him back to Cam to continue the mission.

NOTE: If you're low on health and armor, there are spawn locations inside the security room and office that you can snag before taking the elevator back to Cam.

Protect Your Crew

You'll leave Cam to access the cash and head upstairs to check on Phil, but things will go awry before you can get there. The alarm has been tripped, and you must defend yourself from a S.W.A.T team storming the building. Some enemies will spawn on the second floor, while others will rappel in from the ceiling. The only cover available is behind the counter, but you won't be able to get a clear shot at the enemies, and you'll risk getting Phil killed. Mow everyone down as quickly as possible and make your escape.

NOTE: The only party you must protect from here on out is Phil, as he becomes a contact for Tommy after completing this mission! Keep in mind that if Cam dies in a scuffle at any point after cracking the safe, you won't fail the mission!

Lose the Cops and Escape

As you exit the bank, police officers and SWAT teams surround the premises. Hilary shows up with the getaway car, but will be mowed down, leaving you as the getaway driver. Remove any law enforcement personnel surrounding the vehicle and wait for Phil to enter. Leave any cops alive in the immediate area, and you risk getting pulled out of the car and arrested.

Wait for Phil to get in the car, then hightail it! Turn left on the main road and head for the nearby spray shop! Be cautious of spike strips that the police will deploy and roadblocks that SWAT has set up along the way! Drive on the side of the road to avoid most of the chaos! After you lose the cops, drive to the hideout, and the mission is complete!

Completing The Job brings the Malibu Club mission strand to an end, and you'll be rewarded with a hefty sum of $50,000.
