As omnivores, their diet consists of small mammals like squirrels and rabbits, as well as birds, fruits, berries, and grasses. A Bow with Improved Arrows, or a repeater, is considered to be the best weapon to either wound or kill a fox. The skin and claws of American Red Foxes can be used for crafting.
