GTA VCS: Complete all 59 Story Missions

The first task to achieve 100% completion of the game is to complete the story mode. This involves completing all 59 storyline missions, from the mission Soldier to the mission Last Stand.

GTA VCS: Empire Building

Acquire all 30 Empire Building Sites

Owning all 30 empire sites available is required for 100% completion of the game.

Achieve the Highest Rank in each Business Type

Additionally, the player must achieve the highest rank in all 6 business types for 100% completion of the game. The reputation level is increased by completing missions related to each business type.

GTA VCS: Side Missions & Activities

In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, the player can take part in several side-missions, unrelated to the main game's story. The activities listed below, including challengestime trials and races, or vehicle missions, are all required for 100% completion of the game.

There exist several challenges in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories that the player must finish for 100% completion of the game. Generally, these missions are unlocked after a certain moment during the main story and are accessible at a specific location or by entering a specific, parked vehicle.

Complete all 8 Vehicle Sub-Missions

The player may begin various special Vehicle Missions when inside certain vehicles. These missions must all be done for 100% completion of the game and offer special rewards.

Prove you're the best street racer in Vice City and win all 9 street races available in the game.

Complete all Time Trials

Several side missions in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories involve the player competing in checkpoint challenges and time trials with different categories of vehicles. All of the missions listed below are required for 100% completion of the game.

Complete all 4 Impound Vehicle Lists

The player is required to deliver 4 lists of vehicles, such as cars and watercraft, to the Civil Asset Forfeiture Impound.

Successfully delivering all 32 required vehicles is required for 100% completion of the game.

Complete all 5 Rounds at the Shooting Range

 Complete all 5 rounds at the Phil's Shooting Range with the different weapons.

Complete the Swinger's Club Challenge

Achieve at least 500 points within 5 shots at the Swinger's Club.

Complete the Destruction Challenges

  • Crash! - Cause at least $2000 worth of damage.
  • Rush! - Cause at least $1700 worth of damage. [PS2 Only]

GTA VCS: Collectibles

During free-mode gameplay, the player can also complete activities that involve finding collectibles. These are scattered in specific locations throughout Vice City and must be picked up / completed for 100% completion of the game.

Complete all Rampages

Finding and walking over a Rampage icon, which is a rotating skull, will begin a Rampage, in which the player must fight waves of enemy gangs with specific weapons.

There is a total of 30 Rampages to complete on the PSP version, and 35 Rampages to complete on the PS2 version.

Complete all Unique Stunt Jumps

Prove you're the ultimate stuntman in Vice City by completing all the available Stunt Jumps in town.

There are 30 Stunt Jumps to complete on the PSP version, and 36 Stunt Jumps to complete on the PS2 version.

Find and pop all 99 Red Balloons

 Pop all 99 Red Balloons found in Vice City. You will receive a percentage increase for every 10th balloon popped.

GTA Vice City Stories: 100% Completion Rewards

Achieving 100% completion in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories rewards you greatly. 

  • First of all, the player will never have to buy ammunition again. All weapons have infinite ammunition.
  • The Clymenus Suite safehouse allows the player to re-watch all of the storyline cutscenes.
  • On the PSP version of the game, all multiplayer content is unlocked.

Additionally, multiple tasks required for 100% completion offer great rewards to the player. Once the player achieves 100% completion of the game, they will have received the following rewards:

  • A Rhino tank at Fort Baxter is accessible.
  • Vic owns the Winner Outfit.
  • Pay'n'Sprays are free of charge forever.
  • Hired Muscle outfit, Repo-Man outfit, Leisure outfit, Tracksuit outfit, Smuggler outfit, Hood outfit added to the wardrobe.
  • 25% discount on all weapons in Phil's Store.
  • Wetsuit outfit added to the wardrobe.
