In GTA Chinatown Wars, the player can use the touchscreen to browse around the safehouse interior, which comes with the following options:
- Computer: To check your emails and upload statistics to the Rockstar Social Club.
- Bed / Sofa / Chair: To save your game. Doing so also restores your health, removes your wanted level, and advances the game time by 6 hours.
- Whiteboard: To replay story missions, and to input cheat codes on the Mobile version.
- Stash Box: To store or retrieve drugs from your holdall so they're not lost if you're busted by the police. The Stash Box is universal, so any drugs you store there are available from any safehouse.
- Safehouse Trophies: To view the trophies unlocked for completing various tasks in the game.
- Door: To exit the safehouse
Also, each safehouse may or may not include the following additional features:
- Garage: If included, you'll be able to save a single car in the garage. All garages can only hold 1 car.
- Secluded: If the safehouse is in a secluded area, you'll be able to bring stolen vans and search them for valuables.
